Joe Kaeser began his career at Siemens AG 40 years ago. Following various positions in administration, finance, and business management, Joe was appointed to the Managing Board of Siemens AG as Chief Financial Officer. In August 2013, he was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens AG.

As a leader of a global technology company with 386,000 employees and $87 billion in revenue, Mr. Kaeser will address global geopolitical issues in his conversation with Mr. Rubenstein. Siemens AG is a global powerhouse in energy generation and distribution, manufacturing, engineering, and intelligent infrastructure, and is one of the world’s largest patent holders. The organization’s businesses operate in a variety of markets and industries, ranging from healthcare to wind power, and is now the world's largest industrial software company.
