Rubenstein is a Co-Founder and Co-Executive Chairman of The Carlyle Group, one of the world’s largest private equity firms. A signer of The Giving Pledge, Rubenstein contributes $1 million annually to The David M. Rubenstein/Economic Club of Washington, D.C. Scholarship Program, dedicated exclusively to students attending public schools and public charter schools in the District of Columbia.

As CEO of Adeft, Melton leads this venture capital firm in advising and investing in new innovative companies in various sectors. Carol previously served as a senior executive officer in top level management for two global media and entertainment companies — first at Time Warner Inc. as Executive Vice President for Global Public Policy, and before that, in a similar role for the earlier-combined Viacom and CBS. In addition to the Economic Club board, she is a member of the boards of The RealReal (NASDAQ: REAL) and JBG Smith (NYSE: JBGS). She also is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a partner in the Geneva-based Monthly Barometer, parent of the Summit of Minds conferences in Chamonix, France and other international locales.
Kelly has led the transformation of U.S. News from a traditional print news magazine to a largely digital publishing company with a range of influential products including the Best Colleges and Best Hospitals rankings. Under his leadership, usnews.com has gained an audience of 40 million monthly users.
As the largest lodging company’s President and CEO, Mr. Sorenson oversees Marriott’s 6,000 properties in more than 120 countries and territories. He currently chairs Marriott’s Global Diversity and Inclusion Council, in addition to his role as Chair of the Global Initiative at the Economic Club. Since joining Marriott in 1996, he has held numerous positions in the company, including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, among other titles.

As the head of CTIA, Meredith Baker leads the wireless industry's advocacy efforts. With her experience and expertise as a former FCC Commissioner and senior NBC executive, Meredith skillfully navigates complex political and regulatory issues to deliver the public policy needed for the U.S. to continue leading the world in everything wireless.

Under Virostek’s leadership, approximately 1700 professionals work in EY’s Assurance, Tax, Advisory and Transaction practices serving some of the largest and/or fastest growing companies in the DC region. Previously, he was in charge of EY’s national Corporate Development group and was a National Director of IPO Initiatives within Ernst & Young’s Center for Strategic Transactions.

In her role at FedEx Corporation, Ms. Adams shapes and promotes the interests of all FedEx Corporation operating companies, including FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and FedEx Freight, in the political and policy arenas. As a lawyer and the company’s top lobbyist, she works with Administration officials, members of Congress, the diplomatic community and industry associations on domestic and international commerce, infrastructure and transportation issues. Ms. Adams also participates in a variety of activities in the non-profit and corporate arenas: she is Vice Chair of the American University Board of Governors, serves on the Howard University School of Law Board of Visitors, as well as the boards of the Town Hall Education Arts & Recreational Campus and the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

Jake Jones represents the interests of Mercedes-Benz, Daimler Trucks, and Financial Services in Mexico, Canada, and the United States. He serves on the Executive Committees for the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, Organization of International Investment, Federal City Council, and Washington Performing Arts Society, and is on the German-American Business Council board.

Timothy McBride leads Global Government Relations for Raytheon Technologies. He is responsible for working with governments at the international, federal and state levels, and for communicating the company’s business interests to policymakers and other organizations. He is a member of the U.S.-Afghan Women’s Council and is a co-founder of Ayenda Foundation, a nonprofit that works to improve the lives of Afghan children.

Ms. Wolff is responsible for the company’s government affairs globally, including U.S. Federal, U.S. State, and International Government Relations. She has over 20 years of government relations experience. She served six years in the White House, including three years as the Assistant to President George W. Bush for Legislative Affairs.

BPG is a diversified developer, owner and operator of hotel, office, multi-family, and sports & entertainment properties. Dave Pollin spends a majority of his time on the hotel portfolio of 30+ hotels valued at over $1.5 billion. His hospitality relationships have yielded numerous industry honors for BPG, including being named Hilton’s Multi-Brand Developer of the Year. A founding board member of Monument Bank of Maryland, Pollin is active with many corporate and non-profit entities.
Recognized by the Washington Business Journal as one of the most powerful people in Washington, D.C., Ms. McClements leads PwC’s efforts in the mid-Atlantic region. She has been recognized by the National Council for Research on Women as one of their Trailblazers, a designation given to those “who contribute to significant positive change in the lives of women and girls.” In 2012, Terri received the Company and Executive Women Worth Watching award from the Profiles in Diversity Journal and was named one of the top 45 Business Leaders by the Adecco Group "Business Women's Leadership Tribute" in 2011.

Mr. Pierce is a litigator who handles complex disputes in state and federal courts—including complex commercial litigation, intellectual property, class actions and internal investigations—across diverse industries, such as technology and telecommunications, health care, energy, entertainment and media, financial services and government contracting. His dedication to his profession and community is manifested in his past service as president of the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia and as chair of the Greater Washington Board of Trade, as well as his current service as a presidential appointee to the D.C. Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure.

Since starting AWS’s public sector division in 2010, Ms. Carlson has driven the business’ growth to include 2,300+ government, 7,000+ education, and 22,000+ nonprofit customers, and a vast worldwide partner ecosystem. She is Board Chair of the American Red Cross National Capital Region, and serves on several educational and nonprofit boards.

Brady’s affiliation with The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. began when the Club was founded in 1986. From its earliest days, she has served as the hands-on manager, coordinating all Club activities as well as managing its growth. She became the Executive Director in 2007.
