A dual citizen of the United States and Spain, Joaquin earned an MBA from ESADE in Barcelona and a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2023, King Felipe VI of Spain honored him with the Order of Civil Merit, Commander by Number.
