With more than 30 years of experience at FedEx, Raj Subramaniam became the second CEO in FedEx history in 2022, succeeding the company's founder, Frederick W. Smith. FedEx has more than 500,000 employees and annual revenue of over $90 billion. Subramaniam is responsible for spearheading the current global transformation of FedEx, which includes revitalizing the company’s operating strategy and harnessing the power of global supply chain data to drive the company into the future. Subramaniam previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer and held various leadership roles in operations and marketing across the FedEx enterprise.
Outside of FedEx, Subramaniam serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Procter & Gamble Company, U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s China Center Advisory Board, US-China Business Council, US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, and the Business Roundtable where he chairs the Infrastructure Committee.
Subramaniam earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Syracuse University, and a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
